The Different Types Of Muslim Women’s Clothing

Being a Muslim woman and finding too many varieties of clothing is not an easy thing as they always prefer simple and comfortable dresses, but there are a few options available in which they can look absolutely beautiful and pretty. Trust us, once you’ll try all of these options, you’ll be grateful that you got to know about them.

Hijab– Hijab is a covering that generally covers the head and chest, and many Muslim women often label it as headscarves. Hijab comes in multiple fabrics, colours, and designs. It is a fabric that comes in a quadrangular or quadrilateral shape. Some people also call it Shaylah or Tarhah.

Niqab– Niqab is a covering that generally covers the face except for the eyes that will remain uncovered. These are made for the women to cover their faces in public. Muslim women wear the niqab when feel they may see or meet unknown men at a place. It comes in different colours and fabric too. The niqab is also known as Ruband.

Burqa– Burqa is a covering that covers the complete body of a woman including eyes, but eyes covered with a section of net fabric. The burqa is usually black. Muslim women wear a burqa over other clothes. The burqa is also known as Boshiya, Paranja, and Chadaree.

Jilbab– Jilbab is a long-tailored kind of coat that is worn as an outer garment by Muslim women. It covers the entire body leaving the face uncovered. Muslim women these days prefer a little fitted Jilbab, and they come in multiple colours and fabrics. Jilbab is also known as Chador or Jubbah.

Abaya- Abaya is a cloak for Muslim women that is worn over other clothing when they go anywhere out. The abaya is generally made up of synthetic black fabric and comes with different decorations of beats, threads, embroideries, and sequins. It is generally worn on special occasions like Eid and when they visit Mosques.

These are the different types of Muslim women’s clothing, and which they can carry and look really beautiful and pretty. You must add them to your wardrobe and collect them in multiple colours and designs. These are ideal for gifting purposes as well. You can simply give them to your friends or family on special occasions.
