Portraying a real person connected to such a painful event also requires sensitivity. The role gives audiences an opportunity to reflect on the human experiences behind the headlines and the lasting effects of violence on families and communities.
Although playing Reena Virk does not automatically establish Vritika’s personal advocacy activities, the series itself has brought these important themes to a wider audience.
